Hamilton Christmas Creative Market 2024
This year we are excited to invite our amazing creative community to join our Hamilton Farmers' Market.
Hamilton Farmers' Market will host a Christmas Creative Market on Sunday 15th December 2024 at Claudelands Barn. We'll be open to the public from 8am to 12pm. There will be over 20 stalls joining the regular farmers' market food offerings.
Santa will make an appearance along with some helpers. Come and join in our festive fun whilst doing some shopping!
Locally created items
Our focus for this Christmas Creative Market is on locally created items, sold by their creator. You'll enjoy our vibrant farmers' market environment and be around other makers from our region that love to create and sell.
Our definition of local is approximately 100km radius or 2hrs drive. It's important that the products sold at the market have been genuinely made/created directly by the stallholder or you are involved in the making process. This means that on-selling, bulking up and cross-over are not permitted.

MARKET DETAILS
The market runs from 8am to 12noon. Set up is from 6.30am to 7.45am.
This is held at The Barn, Gate 3 Brooklyn Rd, Claudelands Hamilton.
Our requirements are:
All products sold at our markets must be Genuinely created by you. Or you are involved in the making process.
On-selling, bulking up and cross-over are not permitted.
These are defined as:
On-Selling - This is the practice of buying in craft from another maker in order to sell these goods at the market. This is strictly forbidden.
Bulking-Up - This is the practice of buying a line of product that you also make and then ‘blending or mixing’ it in with your own stock to increase volumes for sale.
Cross-Over - Some of our stallholders also trade at other markets that permit on-selling. Any brought-in product that is left over from these markets may not be taken along and then sold at our Market.
We also don't permit the sale of any food items or items that are in direct competition with our Farmers' Market stallholders - eg plants
Stall costs:
3m x 3m is $50
6m x 3m is $80
Payment will be required in advance to secure your space and will be invoiced to you by our Market Administrator - Kathryn when your application is accepted.
You will need to supply your own Gazebo, tables and fixtures and amazing products. This market will be held on our front (north) lawn area. No refunds for weather issues - Mother Nature's actions is out of our control.
Some stalls may sell similar items, we will do our best to create a good balance. Based on this, we may not be able to accept every application. For accepted stalls, advance stall fee payment will secure your spot.
