Showcasing delicious locally grown Waikato products
In March 2006, the Hamilton Farmers' Market started with 15 stallholders in Hamilton. The market flourished, and a group of vendors decided to also sell in Cambridge on Victoria Square. The Waikato Farmers' Markets were born.
The Hamilton and the Cambridge Farmers' Market showcase what wonderful products the Waikato has to offer and are thriving and growing every year. Many of the original stallholders are still with the market, with now over 60 members of the markets and many seasonal stallholders - all selling delicious locally grown farm produce and food products!
Cambridge market is a good old-fashioned farmers' market with a lively atmosphere and a great selection of fresh, local goods brought to you by Waikato growers and businesses. Since 2010, this year-round outdoor market takes place in a beautiful setting underneath the trees at Victoria Square in the centre of Cambridge.
The Cambridge Farmers' Market is a great community market. This is where locals shop, friends and neighbours meet and whole families come together. Vendors and customers share recipes and planting tips, enjoying the unique connection between producers and consumers only found at farmers' markets.

Hamilton Farmers' Market
The Hamilton Farmers' Market found its permanent home at Claudelands in 2016. The Claudelands barn and grounds provide large indoor and outdoor spaces, keeping customers and vendors happy and dry year-round. A large, free carpark, Eftpos service and toilet facilities are amenities our customers appreciate.
The Hamilton Farmers' Market is more than a Sunday shopping destination: Hamiltonians come to buy local products from local growers and businesses, chat with the vendors, meet friends and family, have a coffee and listen to live music. A great way to spend your Sunday morning - give it a try!
